Elite Bartending School SWFL is now proud to offer the Online TIPS Training Program for all of our students in our Southwest Florida  Bartending School district. We will offer this useful course free for a limited time for all students who enroll in classes at our Downtown  Ft. Myers location until the end of 2015!  We will also be offering the Tips Training program on location at any bar or restaurant in the Lee County or Collier County area for any bar owners in the very near future.

TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) is a dynamic, skills-based training program designed to prevent intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking by enhancing the fundamental “people skills” of servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol.

TIPS gives students extra knowledge and confidence they need to recognize potential alcohol-related problems and intervene to prevent alcohol-related tragedies.

l
TIPS sessions can be administered through  eTIPS, an online training program accessible directly through our Elite Bartending School’s Southwest Florida’s website. eTIPS Training is self-paced and can be administered at anytime.

Training conducted by a trainer is implemented through video and printed materials to facilitate discussion of the course content. Course material is presented in three sections: Information, Skills Training and Practice/Rehearsal.

At the end of either type session, participants complete a multiple-choice exam. Participants who pass the exam receive a certification card, valid for three years in most areas. Exams, grades and other relevant information are maintained online for review.

A very common question we here at Elite Bartending School SWFL get is …

Why Should I Take the TIPS Online Training Course in SWFL Florida?

SWFL Florida has a tourist based economy with people from all over the world visiting bars and restaurants with a vacation attitude and different appearing ID’s. The TIPS alcohol course gives special priority to people skills, in that it focuses on how service professionals can notice when different types of people are intoxicated, awareness in confronting customers when they’ve had one drink too many and how to notice a fake ID. TIPS has made it less complicated for prospective alcohol servers to get certified. By providing an online platform, certification only take 2 to 3 hours at a much lower cost and in an environment where you can go at your own pace.
